Thorough Dental Cleanings

To achieve and maintain optimal dental health, one should visit their dentist at least two times each year to have a routine dental cleaning. At this visit, a qualified dental hygienist will remove plaque and calculus build-up, as well as polishing off any surface stains.  Polished teeth help inhibit the formation of any future build-up.

Periodontal disease treatment is recommended for those who have deep gum pockets, advanced recession, and gums that regularly bleed when brushed and flossed.  To manage this disease more frequent and regular hygiene visits are recommended.  Dr. Jivan assess your gum health at your initial visit and discusses the optimal treatment for you.

Comprehensive Oral Exams

Dr. Jivan performs comprehensive oral exams, using x-rays and intra-oral imaging, in order to detect tooth decay, bone loss, or tissue anomalies such as cysts or tumors.

Oral exams are also a great time to discuss with Dr. Jivan any questions or concerns. Our video library of procedures are a great visual aid and resource to understand your treatment. The Advanced Park Dental Team makes sure all your questions are answered to your satisfaction.

Preventative Treatments

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride strengthens the enamel of your teeth, which helps to prevent decay over time. A fluoride varnish is used topically apply the proper dose of fluoride to teeth that need it. It is a safe and effective!

 Sealants

Because tooth decay typically occurs in areas of the tooth that are difficult to reach while brushing, we apply sealants to these deep crevices. Sealants, as their name implies, seal off these grooves in the tooth and help prevent food buildup and decay.
